Entrapment

Come and let me into your life........
There must be something wrong with deviantart or my com nowadays....cannot seem to be able to post my stuff up. Now, I am not a big blogging fan and used to think it is a waste of time but the past couple of weeks have changed that for me. Ha ha,but my dearest Aver changed that...... our love have been so sweet and addictive that I cannot help but want to tell the world about it.
Never a firm beliver in fate untill now....... Who would have thought I would meet the love of my life only a few weeks into picking up potrait photography...... Now , I always try to be a professional when relationships with models are concerned, I was taught to always draw a clear line in this aspect but she just came along and changed all that....
She was the one who made me discover so many things about myself and I am really thankful for that....... She is the one I hold dearest to my heart........ and as I have said to her: "Now that I have found you, I am never going to let you go." I am really glad you have decided to let me into your life. What was once filled with fear, confusion and insecurities is now filled with hope and joy. You have what it takes to lead a colourful and fulfilling life, my dearest Venus..... those around you want to tear you down as they know you can soar to the skies..... thus they wanted you to live in black and white like them....... do not envy those who lead a life of black and white..... do not envy those on the other side of that gate..... you have me now......
A life of colour we shall lead........
Loving you always.......
Your little dark Phoenix

Love all the way from Louvre

Went to visit the museum with my beloved Aver to see these exhibits all the way from the Louvre museum in Paris, France. totally mindblowing. It is one thing to read about it in the history books and another to see them upclose..... you can basically feel the ancient sense of history in that place. All of the statues are from the Greeko Roman Era and one cannot help but realise their obessesion with the perfect human figure..... so MTV is not the first to brainwash the masses with their I should look this way to be happy propaganda.
Pardon the low quality of the pictures. Was using my camera phone. Was more engrossed in the exhibits the anything else.
He he....... and my dearest Venus....... it is my first time going out on a date to a museum too..... lolx...... ha ha.... really lor.... very few couples will list going to he museum as a good way to spend their time together.... ha ha...we are insane!!!!

The Return to Renaissance

The Renaissance- a period of prosperity in the 14th to 17th century originating in Italy and spreading throughout Europe.

The term Renaissance itself is a French word meaning "rebirth" and in this case refering to the rebirth of the classical arts of Ancient Rome and Greece . The term can be said to have originated from Giorgio Vasari who was a painter, architect and writer.

The Renaissance Man

The artist's role in society has risen to that of an educated professional who used mathematical principles and a scientific approach to painting. The Renaissance artist was a well rounded "Universal Renaissance Man" who could be a painter, architect , sculptor and writer all rolled into one.

The perfect embodiment of the Renaissance Man can be said to be non other than Leonardo Da Vinci. He was a painter, sculptor, architect, a military engineer, a writer, a scientist and even a surgeon of sorts who cut up dead bodies to find out more about the human anatomy. Back in those days, the church was a powerful body that comissions alot of artworks and that prompt Da Vinci's more famous works like the Last Supper, Madonna on the Rocks and The Mona Lisa.

The Birth of Venus

A painting by Sandro Botticelli between 1482-1486.

It depecits the legend that Venus ( the Goddess of love and fetility) is born full grown and blown ashore in a storm of roses by Zephyr and Chloris on a large scallop shell. The nymph Pomona awaits her with an ornate mantle.

Botticelli's interest in the Classicism style is evident in his choice of modes for the Venus- the pose of ancient sculptures. The elegance and gracefulness of the figure is set off by the interwining patterns of Venus's hair.

The model for Venus is Simonetta Vespucci, a cousin of Amerigo Vespucci , a explorer which America was named.

For my one and only Venus who was blown into my life by the wills of Heaven.

Little Rock

The simple things.......
We tend to miss out on the simplest things in life,
the simple things that give us great joy......
just lying down and admiring the blue of the skies
or hearing the waves crashing onto the shores
or even feeling the cool night breeze on our faces.
The simple things.......
just holding your hand......
feeling you close to me......
hearing you breathe.......
smelling your hair after spending an hour in a hawker centre........
It's all magick to me.......
The simple things.... I love the simple things......
