The Devil who stole my heart!!!

First serious attempt at playing with photoshop after a long layoff..... absolutely did the unimagainable by making the picture look so different from what it was.... luckily I am the photographer and the model is my gal. End results look so pop artish n so not me..... ha ha.... but than again I am someone who pushes the limit. The normal stuff anyone can do....it is only when you try to be different do people take notice. Who will remember the names of the guys who tried to imitate the Mona Lisa? It is a time to be bold and outrageous as that is the real me...the real deal!

For those readers out there who do not know know me that well........
I am a photographer who has fallen in love with my favourite subject matter.....
my dear model -Aver who is now my girlfriend......
Was somehow stuck at a certain level in my photography and was wondering how I could manage to find a break thru.......
That was when we meet Tung Tong........
He has God Like DI skills!!!! Totally! No kidding.... just see the pic above for evidence!
And he can still say he is not good at computers!
And his eye for the world is so different!!! Check out his website and you will see why!!!

Inspires me to do my own DI....cannot be lazy anymore...... must work hard.......
Just as Bruce Lee had said years ago: If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.

Thus my breakthru is one that comes in the form of making my mind like water...... continue to be inspired by those around me....... do not be restricted by perception....always searching for a breakthru..... n off course....working very hard!!!!

Really gotta thank Tung Tong for this! Skills and techniques can be taught but the most powerful way to impact someone is to change their mind......

The Price for Talent

How does one measure talent? Definitely not with a measuring tape or cup.......
How does one honor talent? Not by monetary rewards but the recognition for the hard work helps.
Talent is not something you can learn from a textbook or from selfhelp tape.
It has to be inborn and when time allows and the surrounding is willing......
does one grow to greatness.....
Like diamonds in the rough.......
that was formed from the extreme conditions of hot molten lava.
extracted to be cut and polished to perfection ,
so its greatness and shine will last for eternity.
A diamond is priceless...... so is talent!

Frustrations

It's raining again..... another dark and gloomy day......

The world just do not have a hi tolerance for creative people.
It is growing increasing frustrating to wake up everyday to constant nagging from the people around you. They think you are not doing enough and keep expecting more from you.

Study harder..... get better grades...... get a girlfriend...... find a good job........ get married.......

The social norms are getting more and more disturbing. Success is measured by the size of the car you drive,how beautiful your gal is or the number of zeroes in the bank account etc etc. People who throw caution to the wind and try to pursue their artistic inclinations are often frown upon. The system works in such a way whereby there is a common ideal way to live and anything different will render one and outcast.

Expectations only go up and never goes down...... it is like a helium filled balloon....... you are only expected to float upwards and nothing more.

I don't think I do well as a surbodinate. Never been a good listener and it seriously cramps my style. I have my own way of doing things and people hate me for that. I get easily irritated and unable to perform my best when I have to supress my creativity .

Even as a kid, I was not happy just sitting at the sidelines being a supporter. I am someone who wants to do something with my life but 99% of the time, people just hold me back and it seriously cramps my style. A phoenix cannot act like a little bird forever....... it is destined to fly to the heavens but when people keep telling you that you can't....it is disheartening.I have enough of all
this........

I Wanna fly....I wanna fly..... I WILL FLY....I WILL FLY!!!!

Maybe deep down inside, I am just a frustrated artist who is chained down by what the world wants and expects..... but I WILL FLY....... cos I know I can!
